Barbie Wednesday

Hello friends!
I am excited today to show you a preview of my favorite new dolls from the Mattel Spring 2011 line!
I am super excited that 2 of my favorite Barbie dolls are being released in their lovely vintage style! The first being I Dream Of Jeanie. I LOVE her! I can't wait to get this one!

One of my other favorites was the Bewitched Barbie. I can tell you that the Vintage styled version looks just as lovely!

An exciting new doll to join Mattel's collection of Classic Tv dolls is Elly May from The Beverly Hillbillies! Isn't she cute?!!!! I love her pigtails!!

Mattel has definitely outdone themselves this time! I can't wait for Spring!

Wishing you all a day of fun, Lindsey

Oh what great fun!! Once upon a time I played with Barbies (way back in the 60s!). I can remember making sofas and arm chairs out of cigarette packages covering them with cotton batting and then covering in fabric. I even remember the fabric.....it was a brightly coloured paisley with blues and purples and pinks!!! Outrageous!!!
Thanks for sharing the new Barbie lineup!
Twyla, I cannot connect to you on your email button, because my stoopid! pooter goes to Outlook and we do not use it. So here is my email.

Hi Lindsey! I ordered my Seaside paper. Now for a paper bag tutorial..... My gosh the one you created is just wonderful! Good news for me, my scrapbook store has asked to feature my Christmas tag wreath on their website. I am waiting to hear from their director. It is actually a national camera store; so that would be exciting. We'll see. Have a great week. These dolls are so cute! E

What wonderful memories these Barbie's bring back. I loved all three of those characters. I would also love to see them make a "That Girl" Barbie. I idolized her and wanted flippy hair just like Marlo Thomas when I was a little girl.
